My
Doctrinal Statement For Your Approval For Life!
I
think it important to define who I am if I expect those
true believers to listen to what I say. Please take
the time and go through these statements and contact
me if you have any questions. I have deeply considered
all that the bible teaches concerning doctrine. Take
the time and study it for yourself. Here are the statements.
A further note.
"I think it important and practical for you to
be able to go to the scriptures and find out for yourselves
just what it is that I believe. I have been a Christian
long enough to be able to classify my belief by a means
of coming to the scriptures. If these particular
text that are used to define my belief, my question
is, what is it that you believe? We must come to a general
understanding of what Christianity teaches.
We can only come to that understanding by defining our
personal scriptural belief. That definition is not to
come from others that have not lived in us, nor can
we do this as a collective body of believers. I have
found that others that claim to have the same belief
as myself in reality do not. Standing next to another
so called believer in the "Lion Den" is not
the place to discover ones loyalties. I stand on the
word of God. My mannerisms might be somewhat difficult
for many to affirm, but my personal belief in the Holy
Scriptures has become the controlling factor in what
it is that I believe."
One more thing, let me make this clear, I have not adopted
any view because of my seminary professors. I have studied
before I attended graduate school. I have the greatest
respect for men who have studied and placed their lives
on the line for what they believe. I shall never betray
those men that took me further in my theological training.
I am shocked by so called men that have changed their
views and proceeded in dragging the church through the
gutter with them. I shall never place a premium on human
ignorance as many so called pastors have done by denying
educational theological insights. The early church fathers
were men of letters. lets not throw that away, we must
remain careful in our interpretation of what we say
we believe. I remain open to challenge from any in our
out of my community in anything you read on this site.
Call me on it. Stand with me on or in any forum with
open Bible and lets get it on. That is how confident
I am in the blessed word of God, The Bible, all and
only "66" book therein! Pastor John "In
the fight for life!"
Biblical Guidelines
MY BELIEF CONCERNING THE
BIBLE
"I believe that the sixty six books of the Protestant
Bible, otherwise known as the complete canon, are none
other than the special revelation as issued from God.
Also, that the Holy Scriptures themselves of the Old
and the New Testament were composed without error and
that the church possesses the reliable copies of these
documents."

MY BELIEF ABOUT GOD
"I believe that there is only one true and living
God who manifest Himself as three distinct persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that the
triune God is eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent
and immutable."

MY BELIEF CONCERNING JESUS
CHRIST
"I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,
the second person of the Holy Trinity. I believe that
He was conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary, by
the power of the Holy Spirit and that He lived a sinless
life and worked many miracles. I believe that He is
both true God and true man. I believe that Jesus died
on the cross as a substitution for man's sins. I believe
that He was buried and was physically resurrected from
the dead on the third day for our justification. I also
believe that this same Jesus is now seated on the heavens
at the right hand of the Father and is coming back to
judge the living and the dead." Oh one more thing,
JESUS IS GOD! Please do not insult my intelligence by
asking me questions as to His nature. I do understand
the incarnation.

God, the Holy Spirit, third person of the trinity."

MY BELIEF CONCERNING MAN
"I believe that man was created in the image of
God and that he enjoyed perfect fellowship with God
prior to the fall. We also believe that Adam, the first
man created by God, sinned and as a result the entire
human race fell. I also believe that all men and women
are darkened in their understanding and alienated from
God because of sin. We also believe that all humans
are in desperate need of salvation through the redemptive
act of Christ which He provided for us when He died
on the cross for our sins."

FOR THIS BELIEF:

John 3:4, 8-10 & 15, 1st John 5:17
MY BELIEF CONCERNING THE
DOCTRINE OF SALVATION:
"I believe that mankind is only justified on the
basis of the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.
I also believe that mankind is born again solely by
God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. There
are no works involved in man's justification. This does
not discount the fact that we as Christians are saved
unto good works. I believe that these good works will
naturally follow after genuine conversion has occurred.
I also believe that all who have received Christ will
immediately be in the presence of Christ the moment
of death. At the second coming of Christ, their bodies
will be raised and transformed into the glorious likeness
of the resurrected body of Christ. Lastly, I also believe
that all who reject Christ in this life will consciously
suffer apart from God for all eternity in the lake of
fire called HELL! I teach this as the Bible does and
we preach of this correct biblical doctrine on a regular
basis without shame and remorse for what it does to
those who know not the Lord!"

MY BELIEF CONCERNING THE
CHURCH:
"I believe in a church universal as well as a church
local which consist of all those who truly believe in
Jesus Christ. I would also believe that people of all
races, creeds, and cultures are welcomed as brothers
and sisters. I see ourselves as just a part of the universal
church in this local congregation."

If you have any further questions concerning the statement
and these biblical beliefs, I would ask that you use
the space below and write your questions out that we
might take the time and provide answers; 1st Peter 3:15
I would also hope that you find the ministry and teachings
of this church body biblically satisfactory in terms
of our commitment to Christ in every possible way.
Again one can clearly see that a lot of thought has
gone into this doctrinal statement. If a ministry does
not have these statements in tack in such a form where
others can see and know, as well as test these beliefs
even by death, I have only spoken silly words. These
statements are what I believe. I have adopted them from
other fine people who in their consciences has determined
that dying is better than denying all that we have found
to be true in the teachings of the scriptures.
